Believe to Receive?

Here at Evolve we practice Reorganizational Healing, an approach that emphasizes the emergence of new healing rather than attempting to fix or restore the body or the person. You might ask, do I need to believe in Reorganizational Healing to receive the benefits of care? Simply put, no.

Without a shadow of a doubt, people get more out of their care when they take workshops and go to healing programs, deepening their experience and understanding of how Reorganizational Healing works.  Although that may seem contradictory, I have come to see how it is actually a component of the healing process.

We have various protective mechanisms in our nervous system.  Initially the pre-rational mind can protect us physically and emotionally literally without thought.  This is how we quickly remove our hand from a flame, have superhuman strength or speed in emergencies, and survive with no conscious effort.  Our rational mind also has a protective mechanism that keeps thoughts and concepts out of our realm of awareness to “protect” us.  New or different can equate to a threat to our mind’s sense of safety.  The challenge happens when these same protective mechanisms respond to positive change and keep us from seeing, experiencing, and manifesting what we want in present time. These strategies are archaic, and do not have an authentic focus on the present . More importantly, our past strategies have shaped our present identity and life choices.   Learning about your care can assuage the mind to feel safe in having new experiences, healing, and possibilities.  The level of safety for  the rational mind has been met when we feel present and allow what is happening to manifest .  Neither understanding nor believing is required.  Simply, the exposure to what’s possible is inherently absolutely transformative.
